The Bad, The Good

_The Bad

- This design is visually very innovative, but functionally not very effective. It seems to be fairly large and definitely bulky. Today, water bottles are mostly carried around, and this bottle, which looks like it is made of glass, is definitely not easy to be taken along.

- This package, even though it looks very interesting and original, is not very functional, because it holds so little. Perhaps this would work for samples, unless the package is much larger for regular retail, which in turn would result in hard to store packaging.

- Seen without the bottles, I have no idea what this packaging could contain. There is no revolutionary new way of packaging bottles, as it is a simple rectangular box, which is, quite frankly, poorly designed.

_The Good

- Even though this packaging isn’t any more or less functional than a regular wine bottle, this is a great example of unique and creative thinking. The packaging is very attractive and interesting – making this a great solution to making a regular wine bottle stand out.

- I think this is an absolutely brilliant and original way to package something like clothing. Designed by Meat & Potatoes, it becomes more obvious as to why a Styrofoam package was used – this is usually used to package meat for sale in grocery stores. This way of packaging is actually very functional, because, as these shirts are for individual sale, they come in a distinct package that is easy to ship.

- This packaging is functional in the sense that it is straight to the point, and easily accessible. The simple photographic elements are very appealing to the eye and also communicate for what purpose the particular instrument is.
